Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of software development, web development, automation, SEO and related digital services by StringLogix to its clients. By engaging our services you agree to these terms.
1. Services
StringLogix provides custom software development, web development, AI & automation, SEO and related digital services as agreed in a written project scope or service agreement between StringLogix and the client.
The specific deliverables, timeline, milestones and cost for each engagement are defined and agreed in writing before development begins. No work begins without written confirmation of scope and cost.
2. Quotes & pricing
Quotes are provided free of charge and are based on the requirements discussed at the time of quoting. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
The agreed price covers the deliverables defined in the agreed scope. Changes to scope, features or requirements after agreement may affect cost and timeline and will be communicated, estimated and approved in writing before implementation.
There are no hidden charges. You pay only for what is agreed and delivered.
3. Payment
Payment terms are agreed per project and specified in the project agreement or invoice. Typical arrangements include milestone-based payments or a deposit with final payment on delivery. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice.
StringLogix reserves the right to pause work on overdue accounts until outstanding balances are settled.
4. Scope changes
Any change to agreed scope, features, design or requirements must be requested in writing. StringLogix will assess the impact on timeline and cost and provide a written update. Work on the change begins only after written approval from the client.
5. Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate requirements, timely feedback, required content, credentials and access needed for the project. Delays caused by late or incomplete client input may affect the project timeline without constituting a breach by StringLogix.
6. Intellectual property & ownership
Upon full payment of all agreed amounts, full intellectual property rights and ownership of the custom-developed deliverables transfer to the client. This includes source code, design files and documentation produced specifically for the client's project.
Third-party components, libraries, frameworks or tools used in development remain subject to their own respective licences and are not exclusively owned by either party.
7. Confidentiality
StringLogix treats all client information, requirements, business processes and project details as confidential. We do not share client information with third parties except where required to deliver the agreed services (e.g. hosting providers) or as required by law.
8. Delivery & acceptance
Deliverables are presented to the client for review at agreed milestones. The client has a reasonable review period (typically 7 days unless otherwise agreed) to raise issues. Acceptance is considered given if no substantive issues are raised within the review period.
9. Warranties & support
StringLogix warrants that delivered work will function as agreed in the scope at the time of delivery. Post-delivery support, maintenance and further development are available under a separate support agreement or on a time-and-materials basis as agreed.
10. Limitation of liability
StringLogix's liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific deliverable giving rise to the claim. StringLogix is not liable for indirect, consequential or loss-of-profit damages.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a project engagement with written notice. Work completed and costs reasonably incurred up to the termination date are payable by the client. Deliverables completed and paid for remain the client's property.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StringLogix is registered. Disputes will be resolved first through good-faith discussion. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
